Concerto Live is a people business and as such we take our responsibilities to our team members, our clients and the local and wider community in which we operate extremely seriously
We have been running our work experience and mentoring programme for over 10 years. We work closely with universities and colleges to promote our industry and help young people explore their career options in the world of brand communication, events and live communications. Our links with educational establishments are strong and varied, including providing help with resources as well as providing knowledge and advice.
Working closely with many local organisations, we help support our community in many different ways. From helping to raise funds for needy causes to working with groups to improve their environment, Concerto Live strives to support the community that it operates within.
We actively support national charities such as Ataxia UK, The Loomba Trust, The Variety Club and Muscular Dystrophy Campaign via our work and we are proud to be the corporate supporters of Kids Company, a charity that provides practical, emotional and educational support to vulnerable inner-city children.
We have a set of robust environmental policies and procedures in place, from the monitoring and assessment of our suppliers to the continual evaluation of our own operations. We are constantly examining new ways to reduce both our own carbon footprint and that of our clients' events.
Additionally, we are currently working towards BS8901 and ISO: 14001, both industry and government recognised standards of environmental management. We engage with the Green Globe Index and are able to offer clients the ability to offset the environmental impact of their events and activity via a carbon-offsetting scheme.
We have a strong commitment to equal opportunity, diversity and fair employment and have an enviable record in employee relations.
We have representation on the board of Eventia and are closely involved with ISES, meaning that not only do we do our bit in terms of the general regulation of the event industry in the UK, but also that we can reflect the needs and ambitions of our staff, clients and key stakeholders via a broader platform.
